Bareskrim Chasing Owner And Director Of DNA Pro Trading Robot: All Banned From Overseas

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police is still hunting for the owner and director of the DNA Pro illegal trading robot. So far the police have arrested 6 of the 12 people who have been named suspects.

"We are still hunting for the owner, director, and founder," said Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Special Economic Crimes Directorate, Kombes Yuldi Yusnan, to VOI, Saturday, April 9.

Investigators have already pocketed their identities. So, all you have to do is find him and catch him.

Hunting efforts were carried out in various ways. One of them dig up the information of 6 suspects who have been arrested and detained.

In fact, to prevent the fugitives from escaping, investigators have coordinated with the immigration authorities. The goal is to block the suspects from escaping abroad. "All have been banned," said Yuldi.

Recently, investigators arrested two suspects in the DNA Pro illegal trading robot case. They are the Founders and Co-Founders of the Octopus team.

"Jerry Gunandar is the Founder and Stefanus Richard is the Co-Founder of the Octopus team," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan.

The arrests of these two are the development of the suspect Robby Setiadi as the Co-Founder of the Rudutz team. They were arrested at a luxury hotel in the South Jakarta area on Friday, April 8.

After being arrested, both of them were examined intensively. As a result, they have a downline turnover of hundreds of billions. "The downline turnover is USD 22,000,000 or IDR 330 billion," said Whisnu.

Previously, the DNA Pro trading robot company reported 242 members on suspicion of fraudulent investment. The total loss reached Rp. 73 billion.

Hundreds of these victims joined DNA Pro from April 2021 to January 2022. They were lulled into the lure of cashing out at any time without a nominal limit.
