JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that three trees had fallen due to rain and strong winds that hit a number of areas in the capital.

"The number of fallen trees as of 16.30 WIB in South Jakarta is 2 trees and in East Jakarta 1 tree," said Head of the BNPB Disaster Information and Data Center M. Inshaf in a statement, Friday, April 8.

Details of the location of the fallen tree on Jalan Pemuda, Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, hit the roof of the kiosk.

Then, a fallen tree in South Jakarta was on Jalan Hidup Baru Raya near the Haji Nawi MRT Station and on Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung, Lenteng Agung Village, South Jakarta, hitting a power pole.

Insaf said there were no victims as a result of this fallen tree incident.

"The handling is being handled by the fire department, village PPSU, the Forestry Service, BPBD, and Satpol PP," said Insaf.
