JAKARTA - A baby girl was found horribly dead in a garbage dump (TPS) RW 01, Jalan Karya, Kelurahan Tengah, Kramat Jati Subdistrict, East Jakarta on Thursday, April 7, evening. The baby's body when found by residents at around 20.00 p.m. was covered with a red jacket.

According to Suparjono, an eyewitness to the incident, the discovery of the baby's body was discovered when he was about to transport a residential garbage cart from Jalan Batu Kinyang, RT 012/04, Batu Ampar Village to TPS RW 01 where the incident occurred on Thursday, April 7 at around 17.00 p.m.

According to the Head of RT 06, Arifin, at first, the discovery of the baby's body was mistaken for a doll. From the clothes that wrapped the baby's body, there were still spots that were suspected to be amniotic fluid.

"The umbilical cord is still attached. It's still sucking the thumb," he said.
