BMKG Predicts Rain In Several Regions Of Indonesia During Eid

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts the weather in a number of regions in Indonesia will experience rain during the 2022 Eid al-Fitr period.

Head of BMKG, Dwikorita Karnawati explained in her presentation, the red area is predicted to rain.

The weather before Eid on April 25-1 May 2022 is forecasted to rain evenly in a number of areas, including Sumatra, East Java, Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua.

"On May 2-4, red began to shift to the west, in southern Sumatra, central Java, then in several areas of Kalimantan and Sulawesi. Eastern Indonesia is relatively safer, except in central Papua," Dwikorita said at a hearing. in the DPR reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 6.

Furthermore, in the period after Lebaran, which is May 4-10, 2022, the area with the potential for heavy rains is narrowing to areas of West Java, Banten, and South Sumatra to Lampung.
