The KRL Shooting Case At Kebayoran Station Is Still Under Investigation By The South Jakarta Metro Police

JAKARTA - Police continue to investigate the shooting of the 2138 electric train (KRL) on the Tanah Abang-Rangkasbitung connection around Kebayoran station.

Kasatreskrim of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ridwan Soplanit, admitted that he would study the incident on the KRL.

"We have to investigate, because it's a long shot. Where to shoot, we got it in Kebayoran Lama, right, that's why we continue to massage it back and in the process," Ridwan told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, April 6.

Ridwan admitted that he could not explain clearly about the shooting case. Because this is part of a series of investigations.

"What is certain is that it is still under investigation, because whatever we do, the SOP can't be opened, right. Later if there are developments that are approaching, there will be a bright spot, we will slowly take it," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the investigation into the shooting of the 2138 electric rail train (KRL) in the Tanah Abang-Rangkasbitung relation around Kebayoran station was continuing. Police started checking CCTV footage around the scene.

"Yes, then the CCTV footage (search, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Friday, April 1.

The deepening of the CCTV footage starts from the location of the alleged shooting point to the Kebayoran station. The goal is to find evidence and clues.

Especially looking for the shooter. So, this case will be revealed. "On the tracks, near the station it's possible," said Zulpan.

KRL 2138 for the Tanah Abang-Rangkasbitung connection was shot by an unknown person on Wednesday, March 30. The shot hit the glass on the right side of the fifth carriage.

Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries in the shooting. The police are currently investigating the case by gathering evidence and clues.
