Arrested In Possessing Drugs With Woman In Hotel Room, Police Officer At Wakatobi Police Dismissed Disrespectfully

KENDARI - Members of the Wakatobi Police, Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, and AS Aipda who were arrested on Wednesday, February 2 for being involved in illicit drug trafficking were dishonorably dismissed.

Head of the Propam Division of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Kombes Prianto Teguh Nugroho said the dismissal of the individual members of the National Police after a three-day trial.

"The US Aipda who got OTT (arrest operation) for drugs has been tried by the code of ethics with a PTDH (Disrespectful Dismissal) decision," he said in Kendari as reported by Antara, Sunday, April 3.

The US Aipda ethics trial will take place from Wednesday, March 30 until the results of the trial verdict, Friday, April 1. Prianto said the AS Aipda code of ethics session was chaired by the Wakatobi Deputy Police Chief as the Chair of the Commission Session which was held at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Propam.

Previously, the ranks of the Directorate of Narcotics Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police arrested seven people suspected of being dealers of class I narcotics of the methamphetamine type. One of them is a member of the US Aipda Police (36).

Aipda AS was arrested at the Athaya hotel, Kendari City with his female friend with the initials AA. During the arrest, the police found two sachets of methamphetamine.

The Narcotics Directorate of the Southeast Sulawesi Police then carried out developments and succeeded in finding 29 sachets of suspected methamphetamine weighing 10.5 grams in the KM (Motorboat) of the Virgin Mary at Wanci Port, Kendari City, belonging to the suspect AS. The plan is that these illicit goods will be sent to Wakatobi Regency for circulation.

Meanwhile, five other people arrested by the Directorate of Drugs and Drugs at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police were LOZ (34), H (42), RDM (36), MTP (53), R (26), and AA (31) a woman.
