Azis Samual 'Pasang Badan', Investigation Of The Involvement Of Other Parties In The First Haris Beating Case Stopped

JAKARTA - The investigation into the case of the general chairman of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) Haris Pertama was stopped at Azis Samual as the mastermind of the crime. This is because the Golkar politician has always kept his mouth shut regarding the alleged involvement of other parties and the motive behind it.

"This means who is the mastermind behind this crime, so he stopped in the US)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, March 31.

The efforts to develop this case were stopped because Azis Samual was always silent in the investigation process. Because of this, investigators could not dig deeper into the motives and other matters.

"The US did not convey (about the motive, ed)," said Zulpan.

Golkar politician Azis Samual is suspected of being involved in the beating of Haris Pertama. He was named a suspect, on March 2.

Azis Samual's involvement in this case was to give orders to the other suspects who were the executor.

Haris Pertama was beaten when he was about to eat at the Garuda restaurant, Cikini, Central Jakarta. As a result of the beating, Haris suffered a wound on his forehead.

In handling this case, the police have arrested six suspects, apart from Azis Samual. They had the initials MS, JT, SS, and Irfan. However, another one is still a fugitive named Harvey.
