GUNUNG PUREI - The road that connects Lampeong Village, Gunung Purei District, North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan, to the border with West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan is damaged.

The road damage has received complaints from the local community, because it has not yet received treatment from the relevant agencies. The reason is that the road cannot be passed by both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, if passing through the road it is trapped in a deep mud puddle.

"So far, many residents have complained about road damage so that it is difficult for motorists to pass through. And no handling has been carried out by the relevant agencies," said Sutnadi, a community leader in Lampeong II Village, Gunung Purei District, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 29.

According to him, previously this road section had been submitted to the Central Kalimantan Public Works and Spatial Planning Service through the Central Kalimantan Region III National Road Implementation Unit.

However, he continued, the information received stated that functional handling had been programmed for this month.

"But there has been a problem with the heavy equipment of the grader in the last few days, so first bring in another tool," said Sutnadi conveying the satker's message.

Sutnadi hopes that the relevant agencies can immediately repair the road, so that people can move and deal easily and smoothly and it doesn't take long and makes traveling tired.
