One Of The KKB Victims From Southeast Sulawesi Planning To Get Married In November

KENDARI - Posthumous Marines First Lieutenant (Lettu) Marine Muhammad Iqbal from Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi who died in an attack by the Papuan armed criminal group (KKB) on Saturday, March 26 afternoon, plans to get married in November 2022.

Kaharuddin's brother-in-law was met after the funeral in Anggotoa Village, Wawotobi District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Monday evening, March 28, saying that his sister-in-law plans to propose to his idol named Jasinta Firda Pertiwi who is from Surabaya.

"The deceased was planning to get married in 11 (November 2022)," said the deceased's brother-in-law right in front of the funeral home.

He said that the deceased's family would apply after Eid this year, because the deceased had finished carrying out his duties in Papua.

"Even the family plans, after Lebaran the deceased has finished the Task Force, so the plan after Lebaran the family has agreed on preparations to make an official application," he said as quoted by Antara.

He admitted that the family had lost a lot about the deceased, especially as one of the pillars of the family's economy.

"In the eyes of the deceased's family, honestly, it is very, very special, besides that, the deceased is also a supporter of the family, the family really loves the deceased," he said.

The body of the late Marines Posthumous First Lieutenant (Lettu) Muhammad Iqbal, who died in an attack by the Papuan armed criminal group (KKB), last Saturday, March 26 afternoon, was buried in the family public cemetery about 30 meters behind the funeral home.

The funeral was carried out militarily, led by the Commander of Lantamal (Danlantamal) VI Makassar, First Admiral of the TNI, Benny Sukandar.

The two deceased mothers Hartini and Mr Maris also witnessed the funeral of their fourth child who was born on November 26, 1994.

Not only that, the deceased candidate named Jasinta Firda Pertiwi also witnessed the eating of her loved ones. Families and relatives also thronged the burial site of the deceased.
