West Sidoarjo Regional Hospital Starts Operation Early April 2022, Regent: Temporary For Outpatient Service First

JAKARTA - The West Sidoarjo Regional Hospital in Krian District will operate from early April so that it can help the residents of West Sidoarjo in getting easy access to health services.

Sidoarjo Regent Ahmad Muhdlor said Saturday that the Type C hospital with an inpatient capacity of 100 beds is planned to be inaugurated at the end of March.

"In April, the operation has started, while outpatient services first, for emergency installation services (IGD) are being prepared," said Sidoarjo Regent Ahmad Muhdlor, in Sidoarjo, quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 26.

He said outpatient services include Pediatric Specialist Poly, Obstetrics Poly, Orthopedic Surgery Poly, General Surgery Poly to Dental Clinic, which is being prepared by the management of the West Sidoarjo Hospital, including the emergency room service.

He explained, to maximize the service later, the management of the West Sidoarjo Hospital alerted 2 ambulances and 1 hearse.

According to him, the distribution and improvement of health services, said Gus Muhdlor, has become a basic need for Sidoarjo residents. RSUD Sidoarjo Barat will serve residents who live in the sub-districts of Krian, Balongbendo, Taman, Wonoyu, including Prambon.

"Saving the golden generation is one of them by fulfilling basic health services. Therefore, we prioritize equity and improvement of health services," said Gus Muhdlor, his nickname.

This fourth week of March, he said, project workers completed interior work such as the office front room, emergency room service staff and several other supporting rooms.

Plt. Director of RSUD Sidoarjo Barat, dr. Abdillah Segaf Al Hadad said that the management is currently focusing on preparing outpatient service facilities at each poly, including the equipment in the emergency room which is being accelerated.

"Starting from bed equipment, room divider covers, including equipment in the ER, are still being rushed. For the Gynecology Poly room, an Ultrasonography (USG) content examination test kit is equipped. The target is when the soft lanching will be ready," said Abdillah.

In addition to completing the physical building, the preparation of medical personnel such as doctors and nurses in each poly is also being finalized, including the administrative staff.
