Claims Of Bad Service At Eka Hospital BSD, Chair Of DKI DPRD Asks The Ministry Of Health To Intervene

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, asked the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) to intervene to oversee the performance of hospitals (RS) both government and private.

This statement was made after Prasetyo received unpleasant services from Eka Hospital BSD.

"The Ministry of Health should have stepped in to make people feel comfortable," said Prasetyo in his statement, Saturday, March 26.

This encouragement is also intended so that no more people get the same treatment.

Moreover, the Ministry of Health as the duty bearer was also asked to create a public complaint channel. Thus, arbitrary actions from hospitals and others can be directly monitored.

"As the government, the Ministry of Health must create a complaint channel or optimize the channel if it already exists. That way the public can easily submit complaints and suggestions," he said.

In fact, with the existence of a complaint channel, the Ministry of Health can also have a basis for providing witnesses to the hospital. With a note, the complaint was proven true.

"The Ministry of Health can immediately follow up when there is a violation to then give hospital sanctions, for example revoking its permit if it violates," said Prasetyo.

Previously, Prasetyo reported the Eka Hospital BSD Hospital to the Serpong Police. The PDI-P politician's report relates to services and being forced to pay bills.

The bad service from Eka Hospital was conveyed through his Instagram account @prasetyoedimarsudi.

In his upload, the man who is often called Pras said that it all started when his daughter was sick and had to go to Eka Hospital for treatment. That's when bad service received.

"Starting from the doctor's diagnosis that was too far-fetched without any evidence, to the forced collection of treatment costs," Prasetyo said through his Instagram.
