Allegedly Suicide In Car, Perpetrator Prepares ATM PIN As A Will For Wife

JAKARTA - A man with the initials EJZ who died in North Jakarta is known to have left a will before deciding to commit suicide on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Rio Mikael Tobing said that his party found the will when conducting a crime scene investigation (TKP analysis). ).

The will, said Rio, was found in a brown envelope. "When we processed the crime scene, we found there was a file. Where this file was stored in a brown envelope, yesterday, during an examination with his wife," he explained to the media crew, Friday, March 25, 2022.

After the brown envelope was opened, inside was a will written by the victim. According to the police, the will bears the victim's ATM pin, along with the victim's internet banking account and password.

"We opened the file and found a will from the victim which contained an ATM PIN and also the username and password from the victim's internet banking," explained Rio.

Rio continued, in the document there was no message written by the victim. The police, he added, suspected that the victim would initially send the document to the residence of the victim's wife's parents in Malang, East Java.

"So this file is suspected to be sent by the victim. However, (the file) was not sent, we found it in the victim's bag," he said.

Rio added that based on these findings, the police strongly suspect that the victim died by suicide. However, this suspicion did not make the police immediately stop their investigation of the case.

"We will continue to open the investigation if new facts emerge," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that a body was found in a Daihatsu Xenia car in the P5 parking lot of the Grand Emerald Apartment, Pegangsaan II, Kelapa Gading, Wednesday, March 23, at around 21.00 WIB. When found, the body was covered in blood and locked from inside the car.

The witness, known as the victim's wife, saw her husband motionless in the car. With his body covered in blood, the victim with the initials EJZ (32) sat on the bench in the middle, then back.
