JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined the member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the NasDem Fraction, Haerul Amri. He was examined as a witness to the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU) which ensnared the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Aminuddin.

The examination of Haerul was carried out on Thursday, March 24 yesterday. During the process, investigators questioned him with a number of questions, including regarding Puput's assets which were in the name of someone else.

On that occasion, Haerul was also asked for information regarding the flow of money received by Puput and her husband.

"The witness was present and confirmed, among others, regarding the alleged flow of money received by the suspect PTS et al and other allegations regarding the existence of assets belonging to the suspect PTS on behalf of certain parties with the intention of disguising their ownership," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri in written statement, Friday, March 25.

In addition, to explore these two things, KPK investigators also examined the staff of the Sumedang Regency Regional Secretariat, Ajeng Nur Hanifah and the entrepreneur, Nurhayati.

Actually, the KPK will also examine three other witnesses, namely a civil servant named Heri Mulyadi, a staff member from the Protocol and Household Division, namely Meliana Ditasari, and a private employee, namely Agus Salim. It's just that, Ali said, the three were not present.

"The witness was not present and rescheduled," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption committed by Puput and Hasan and other parties related to allegations of bribery in the sale and purchase of positions, gratuities, and money laundering (TPPU).

Meanwhile, in the bribery case of buying and selling positions, the anti-corruption commission has named 22 people as suspects. They consist of 4 bribe recipients and 18 bribe givers.

The bribes given by ASN in the Probolinggo Regency Government are carried out so that they can serve as village head officials. Each person is required to pay Rp. 20 million and the village land tribute of Rp. 5 million per hectare.

The four recipients were Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, DPR member Hasan Aminuddin, Krejengan Sub-district Head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton Sub-district Head Muhamad Ridwan.

Meanwhile, 18 donors namely Sumanto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, Mashudi, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin as suspects giver.
