North Penajam Paser Regency Government Asks For Discussion With The IKN Authority On Assets In Sepaku

KALTIM - The clarity of the status of various sectors in Sepaku Sub-district which are included in the core area of the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago is still a question. Regarding this matter, the North Penajam Paser Regency Government requested a discussion room with the IKN Authority.

Acting Regent of North Penajam Paser Hamdam Pongrewa said ideally there would be room for discussion with the IKN Nusantara Authority, especially regarding the National Capital Shrimp Law that had been passed and its derivative regulations.

There is a space provided for discussions regarding IKN, so that the North Penajam Paser Regency Government can prepare everything needed to synergize policies with the plan to relocate the Indonesian IKN.

The North Penajam Paser Regency Government wants to discuss the interests of the accommodated districts in the plan to relocate the IKN to the East Kalimantan Province, including the certainty of regional assets that are included in the IKN Nusantara area.

Moreover, Sepaku District in North Penajam Paser Regency. he explained, as the parent of some of the areas that were taken to become the KIPP (central government core area) of the new Indonesian IKN called Nusantara.

"The assets of the North Penajam Paser Regency government that are included in the IKN area, there are a number of physical and non-physical assets," said Hamdam Pongrewa in Penajam, Friday, March 25, as reported by Antara.

"A number of assets are sought to remain in the ownership of the district government if the Sepaku District leaves the administrative area of North Penajam Paser Regency," he added.

The district government has conveyed to the central government that the Regional General Hospital or Sepaku Hospital and the 43 hectares of land in the Trunen farm area are not taken over.

Land owned by the district government covering an area of 43 hectares which has a cattle ranch and guest house, the location is quite strategic, directly opposite the entrance to the core location of IKN Nusantara.

In addition, there are 45 ASN (state civil servants) of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government who work in Sepaku District, as well as in Sepaku, Maridan, Pemaluan and Mentawir Villages.

"The status of the district government and ASN assets in IKN needs to be clarified, and it is hoped that the Authority Agency will also build a buffer zone around the IKN area," said Hamdam Pongrewa.
