JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has again arrested a fugitive suspected of importing counterfeit Standardpen pen brands with the initials S alias A.

"Suspect S alias A was arrested at his home in the East Pluit area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, a few days ago," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Wisnu Wardana when contacted by VOI, Thursday, March 24.

Until now, the number of suspects in the brand forgery case is two people, namely BS and S alias A.

"Regarding the brand case, we have processed everything. In total there are two suspects. The first suspect has a file P21 at the Prosecutor's Office," he said.

However, at this time the police are still developing the case to hunt down the forgery network of the pen brand.

"S alias A acts as an importer. Currently, S alias A can no longer communicate with importers in China," he said.

Confirmed separately, the project manager of PT Standardpen Industries, Marsudi, said that his party appreciated the performance of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim by arresting one importer again.

"We appreciate the performance of the Central Jakarta Police. We are very grateful that the importer was (arrested). We hope that the investigation will continue to the top," he said, Thursday, March 24.

Meanwhile, the case file for the importer of the fake Standardpen pen has been transferred to the prosecutor's office.

Previously it was reported that Marsudi, one of the pen brand holders, reported the suspect with the initials BS to the Central Jakarta Metro Police on suspicion of counterfeiting the pen brand.

From a series of investigations, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim finally transferred the BS case to the Central Jakarta District Attorney, Wednesday, February 23.

BS is the owner of a wholesale shop selling office stationery (ATK). As a result of BS's actions, Marsudi suffered a huge loss due to the forgery committed by the alleged BS.

After Marsudi reported BS, did he know that all this time BS had been taking goods from importers.
