DKI Provincial Government Supports Justin Bieber Concert At GBK

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria supports Justin Bieber's concert plan at the Bung Karno Madya Stadium (GBK) on November 3, 2022.

"Of course we welcome (Justin Bieber's concert). Justin Bieber, hopefully in November we can carry out well. We support for better health, increasing economy," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday, 24 March.

Riza assessed that this gathering of large numbers of people is not impossible, considering that at this time Indonesia will be preparing to enter a transition period from the COVID-19 pandemic to endemic.

Currently, the government has also made a number of easing activities. Among other things, the easing of public transportation capacity has been 100 percent in Jakarta, and the public is allowed to go home for Lebaran this year. Thus, concert activities can also be held.

"We have given one opportunity to start. Several events, such as yesterday's cultural arts activities, I also attended, even though they were still in one room, wearing a mask, but they have already started," he explained.
