JAKARTA - The suspect in the online gambling case under the guise of Quotex trading, Doni Salmanan, is said to have often played Crypto to invest his assets. But while playing, Doni Salmanan always loses.

"DS played crypto trading but only lost," said Head of Sub-Directorate of Cyber Crime Directorate of the National Police, Kombes Reinhard Hutagaol when confirmed, Wednesday, March 23.

In Doni Salmanan's crypto account, it was found that the remaining balance reached hundreds of millions. However, this account has been blocked for investigation purposes.

"It's been blocked, we'll check the remaining IDR 500 million," said Reinhard.

Reinhard emphasized that until now he is still investigating the alleged crime of money laundering Doni Salmanan through crypto trading. The search for evidence and information continues.

“Until now it is still being investigated,” said Reinhard.

For information, in this case, Doni Salmanan is suspected of Article 45 paragraph 1 junto 28 paragraph 1 of the ITE Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, and Article 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 8 of 2010 concerning the Eradication of Money Laundering.

Investigators have also confiscated several assets belonging to Doni Salmanan. Some of them, are Porsche 911 Carerra 4S, Lamborghini, and BMW. Then, there are also assets in the form of two houses in the Bandung area, West Java. Then, eight big motorcycles (MOGE) of various brands.

The cash belonging to Doni Salmanan was also confiscated in the amount of IDR 3.3 billion. The money came from one of his houses.
