KPK Summons DPRD Chair Again About Alleged Corruption In Formula E, Deputy Governor Of DKI: Repeatedly No Problem

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria responded to the presence of the Chairman of the DKI DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building. The second time, the KPK asked Prasetyo for information regarding the alleged corruption of Formula E.

Riza said this summons was a common thing in the investigation process, although Prasetyo had previously been summoned by the KPK to provide information on the same case.

"Yes, let alone twice, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be called multiple times. The name also needs discussion, needs deepening, needs input. I don't think there's a problem," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, March 22. .

Riza assessed that Prasetyo's summons to the KPK for the second time was one of the KPK's efforts to obtain more detailed information to determine whether there was an element of corruption in the electric car racing event.

"If the chairman of the DPRD is called by the KPK, it's a DPRD institution. That's normal. The KPK needs input on the budget planning process, the budgeting process, until a decision is made on a budget, so I don't think there's anything extraordinary," said Riza.

The KPK today summoned Prasetyo Edi Marsudi for questioning regarding the alleged corruption in the administration of Formula E. This is the second time this summons has been made. Previously, the KPK had asked Prasetyo for information on the same case on February 8, 2022.

Previously, after giving the first information to the KPK in early February, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi said there was a request for funds to Bank DKI before the Formula E financing regulation was passed. Prasetyo told reporters, Tuesday, February 8.
