SOLO - President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) sister, Idayati will marry the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK), Anwar Usman in May after the proposal.

The woman who is familiarly called Ida said the wedding would be held on May 26, 2022 in Solo.

Regarding the initial introduction to Anwar, he said that he was introduced to him for the first time by a friend. "October was introduced by friends," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 21.

He said he was happy with Anwar's proposal. "It's a pleasure," he said.

Regarding daily activities, Ida, who is currently 55 years old, admitted that she only carries out activities as an ordinary housewife. "As a housewife, my husband used to work," she said.

Previously, rumors circulated about President Jokowi's return some time ago, one of which was because he received an application from the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court to one of his younger siblings.

Regarding this, when confirmed by the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, he admitted that he did not attend the application.

"Still isoman (self-isolated due to COVID-19), wingi is still very weak (yesterday was still weak)," he said.

Jokowi has three younger sisters, one of whom is Idayati. Idayati herself has been a widow since her first husband, Hari Mulyono, died in 2018.

Hari died at the age of 58 on Monday (9/24/2018), at 10.40 WIB after undergoing treatment at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital in Jakarta.

According to the eldest brother, Budi Priyanto (63), Hari died of a stroke he had suffered some time ago.
