AMBON - A proud achievement was achieved by Pattimura International Airport, Ambon, Maluku. The airport, which is managed by PT Angkasa Pura I, won the best airport award in the Asia Pacific region at the 2021 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards.

Ambon Pattimura International Airport won in the airport category with a capacity of less than two million passengers per year. The award was also given by Airport Council International (ACI), said General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I Ambon Pattimura International Airport Branch, Pribadi Maulana, as reported by Antara, Saturday, March 12.

This achievement is claimed to be a form of acknowledgment of the ongoing efforts that have been given by Ambon Pattimura International Airport in maintaining and improving service standards.

This continuous effort is evidenced by the increase in scores in the assessment of airport services through the ASQ program throughout 2021. In the first quarter of 2021 (January – March 2021), Ambon Pattimura International Airport received an assessment score of 4.65.

Furthermore, successively obtained an assessment score of 4.89 in the second quarter of 2021 (April – June 2021), an assessment score of 4.97, in the third quarter (July – September 2021), and an assessment score of 4.98 in the fourth quarter (October – December 2021).
