Police Can't Confirm The Guns That Curnamor Perpetrators Bring In Cilincing, Are Real Or Air Softguns

JAKARTA - Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, Iptu Alex Chandra, confirmed that there was an incident of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) using a firearm (quiet). But Alex could not confirm whether the weapon he was carrying was a real gun or just a replica.

"Yes, it is true. When viewed from the video, it resembles a gun or an air softgun. (Therefore) members have checked the field and taken information from four residents in the context of the investigation," said Alex when contacted, Friday, March 11.

The theft occurred on Tuesday, March 8, at 13.00 WIB. The perpetrator was caught by residents and left the stolen motorbike.

"He (the perpetrator) tried to steal. But the owner of the motorbike caught him, so he left the motorbike," continued Alex.

Furthermore, Alex asked the victim to immediately report the case so that it could be followed up.

"The police asked the victim to report immediately," he said.

Previously, a video of the theft of a stolen vehicle was circulating on social media. The action is known to have taken place in Semper Barat, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Two perpetrators caught on CCTV wanted to steal a motorbike from a resident's house, but the motorbike owner saw the action.

The perpetrator who panicked immediately left the stolen motorbike. While fleeing, one of the perpetrators pointed an object that resembled a gun at the victim. So that the victim does not chase the perpetrator.
