BOGOR - The Bogor Regency DPRD, West Java, praised the performance of the Head of Disdukcapil Bambang Setiawan, who was repeatedly reprimanded by the Director General of Population and Civil Registration of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Dirjen Dukcapil Kemendagri), Zudan Arif Fakrulloh.

"Don't pretend that Disdukcapil has no achievements. In the issuance of population certificates, we are the largest contributor in Indonesia and that is very good," said Head of Commission I of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Usep Supratman in Cibinong, Bogor, Antara, Friday, March 11.

He regretted Zudan's assessment of Bambang Setiawan who was deemed to have no breakthrough in providing Adminduk services to the community.

Usep also asked Zudan to assess Bambang Setiawan's performance from all aspects. Because, Bogor Regency is the area with the largest population, namely 5.327 million people and a wide geographical area, which is 40 sub-districts.

"We also need to see, for some time the problem of distributing blanks for printing e-KTPs was late from the center, and it also caused delays in services in areas such as in Bogor Regency," said the chairman of the commission in charge of government and law.

As is known, the Director General of Dukcapil at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, has several times reprimanded the Head of Dukcapil, Bambang Setiawan, for finding services that do not comply with procedures.

Initially, Zudan did an inspection on August 30, 2021. At that time he disguised himself as a resident who applied for a Divorce Certificate and a Death Certificate. It turns out that there are many additional requirements from the Disdukcapil of Bogor Regency.

About seven months after the inspection, Zudan returned to the Dukcapil office located in Cibinong, Bogor, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

According to him, services at the Disdukcapil of Bogor Regency remain flat, and do not show encouraging developments. The Head of Dukcapil Headquarters, Bambang Setiawan, was again hit by Zudan's strong reprimand.

Zudan thinks that Bambang has not learned much from other head office in West Java who understands the details of population administration.

"The daily reporting system is not working well in 40 sub-districts and 7 UPTs. There is even a regional regulation regarding the Dukcapil Service Fines. Even though I have long asked for it to be removed, because it is burdensome for the community," said Zudan in a release.

Zudan invited the Dukcapil Office of Bogor Regency, which manages the area with the largest population in Indonesia, namely 5.327 million people, to carry out "Total Football" to improve the Adminduk service.
