KSAL Promises To Complete Lanal Lampung Facilities

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Navy (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono promised to continue to complete the facilities and infrastructure at the Lampung Naval Base (Lanal).

Yudo delivered the promise when meeting TNI AL soldiers directly at Lanal Lampung after inaugurating the Lanal Lampung Caligi Command Headquarters (Mako) Building in Pesawaran, Tuesday, March 8.

Yudo also advised his staff to maintain all facilities and infrastructure, including the Lampung Caligi Mako Building, which had been handed over from the Head of the Naval Base Facilities Service (Kadisfaslanal) Admiral TNI Agus Santoso to the Lanal Commander Lampung Marine Colonel (F) Nuryadi late last year.

Yudo explained that the facilities and infrastructure are state assets built with public money. Thus, TNI AL soldiers are obliged to maintain, care for, and manage these facilities and infrastructure.

During the inauguration ceremony of the Mako Lanal Lampung Caligi building, Admiral Yudo hoped that the new building could benefit not only soldiers but also the people around them.

"Wherever we are, we must provide the maximum benefit to the people," said the Navy Chief of Staff, quoted by Antara.

The Mako Lampung Caligi Building is a two-story office building with an area of 990 square meters. The building stands on an area of 192 hectares.

After inaugurating the new building, Kasal took the time to go around and inspect a number of facilities at the Mako Lanal Lampung Caligi Building.
