TNI AU Intelligence Must Have Threat Detection And Anticipation Capability

JAKARTA - As part of TNI intelligence, TNI AU Intelligence is expected to have adequate capabilities in detecting and anticipating every form of threat, both potential and real.

This was conveyed by the Assistant Intelligence (Asintel Kasau), Marshal TNI I Wayan Sulaba when opening the 2022 TNI AU Intelligence Coordination Meeting at the Suharnoko Harbani building, Cilangkap Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 8, as released by the Dispenau.

Asintel Kasau said the TNI AU's intelligence capability to carry out early detection and early prevention must be realized through intelligence development which is carried out in a planned, directed, integrated, and continuous manner.

"Capabilities development starts with the formulation of a good general intelligence policy of the Indonesian Air Force, which is implemented in carrying out tasks, especially in the field of intelligence," said Asintel Kasau.

Asintel hopes that the Coordination Meeting can be used as a vehicle for communication and sharing knowledge, so that it can enrich and add experience, as well as a solution in carrying out daily tasks.

"I really hope that the Intel Coordination Meeting participants take advantage of the Coordination Meeting opportunity to convey the obstacles faced in their respective work units, so that solutions can be found and can be used as guidelines and descriptions in dealing with problems that occur," hoped Asintel Kasau.

In this Intel Coordination Meeting in 2022, presenting a number of speakers, including Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana who discussed air sovereignty in the EEZ, and Dr. Tongam L. Tobing who discussed law enforcement in the financial sector and legal or illegal investments.

In addition, the participants of the Coordination Meeting also received briefings from Kadispamsanau and Kadissurpotrudau.

Before closing the Intel Coordination Meeting, Asintel Kasau gave a number of emphasis to all participants, including increasing faith and piety, learning and mastering modern air intelligence capabilities, increasing the sense of security and sense of intelligence, upholding the TNI's commitment to neutrality, observing various internal and external disruptions, and keep military discipline and loyalty upright.

Asintel Kasau also emphasizes the importance of a proactive attitude in socio-economic life, so that synergies can be created in national development.
