JAKARTA - The Perintis Presisi Patrol Team (TPPP) of the West Jakarta Metro Police managed to secure a group of youths who were about to brawl. A total of 12 people were secured at different locations along with evidence of sharp weapons such as sickles.
West Jakarta Metro Police Samapta Kasat, Commissioner of Police Slamet Riyanto said his party managed to secure as many as 12 youths suspected of being involved in a brawl in two different locations.
"We have secured various sharp weapons and blunt weapons which are suspected to be used during the brawl," said Commissioner of Police Slamet when confirmed, Monday, February 7.
Commissioner of Police Slamet further stated that the TPPP Team under the leadership of Katim 1 Insp. Suhartono arrested 6 youths at the first location, namely on KH Hasyim Street, RT 04/01, North Kembangan, West Jakarta on Sunday 6 March, early in the morning.
The arrests at the first location were carried out at around 03.30 western Indonesia time. The TPPP team confiscated two golf clubs, two sickles, and one firework.

Meanwhile, in the second location, the team formed by the Metro Jaya Police Chief again arrested 6 other youths who were about to carry out a brawl on Ukir Street RT 09/010, Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
"We also secured various sharp weapons including one samurai blade, three sickle blades, and the vehicle used by the perpetrator," he said.
Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were handed over to the Cengkareng Police for further investigation.
"This strike preventive patrol activity will continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis, especially at times prone to security and social security vulnerabilities," he said.
