JAKARTA - The Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcement (Subdit Gakkum) of the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya arrested 25 people related to a viral video breaking through the Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang toll road using a motorbike.
Not only that, the police also secured 21 units of supermoto motorcycles.
"There have been 21 motorized vehicles secured and 25 people have been confirmed for inspection," said Head of Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Ditlantas AKBP Jamal Alam quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 6.
However, Jamal has not disclosed the details of the handling of the case and only said that his party will hold a press conference regarding it.
A number of motorists involved in the incident have also approached the Polda Metro Jaya to take responsibility for their actions.
"Yes, we plan to provide education in the Sub-Directorate Building of Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya," said Jamal.
The incident previously went viral on various Instagram social media accounts, one of which was the @recordjakarta account.
