MEDAN - Students who are members of the Nusantara Student Executive Board (BEM) agree with Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution to be the next Governor of North Sumatra.

This was conveyed directly to Bobby Nasution when President Jokowi's son-in-law attended the Leadership Training Grand Design for Young Leaders to welcome Indonesia Gold 2045 at Wisma Benteng, Thursday, March 3.

This statement was made by the Chief Coordinator of the BEM Nusantara Center, Dimas Prayog in his remarks. Dimas said that Bobby Nasution should be the Governor of North Sumatra.

"North Sumatra is identical to the clan. Therefore, it is time for North Sumatra to be led by a young figure with the surname," said Dimas.

"And the figure of the mayor of Medan, Mr. Bobby, is worthy. Young and energetic, it is ideal to be Gubsu in 2024," he continued.

Meanwhile, Bobby Nasution in delivering material at the seminar explained, in 2045 Indonesia's population will reach 300 million. Of the total population, 70 percent will enter the productive age.

According to Bobby Nasution, this productive age will drive all sectors, including the economy, politics and other sectors in Indonesia. Including the students who attended the BEM Nusantara Leadership Training activity.

"The first thing we have to achieve towards Golden Indonesia 2045 is how to realize unity and integrity so that it becomes our basic foundation to make it happen," said Bobby.

To begin with, Bobby Nasution said if it could be started from the leaders in each region.

"For this reason, the chosen leader must have a sense of nationalism. Because the main basis is nationalism so that we have the same understanding," he said.
