Positive Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 Lampung Adds 971 People

LAMPUNG - The Lampung Provincial Health Office (Dinkes) noted that there were an additional 971 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the area.

Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana said, with the addition of 971 people, the cumulative number of cases rose from 59,542 people to 60,513 people.

"The addition came from Bandar Lampung City as many as 190 people, Metro 28 people, North Lampung Regency 62 people, Central Lampung 83 people," he said in a written statement in Bandarlampung, Antara, Wednesday, February 23.

He detailed, then there were additional patients in East Lampung Regency with 94 cases, West Lampung 46 cases, Mesuji 35 cases, Tanggamus 73 cases.

"Then in South Lampung Regency there were 74 positive cases, Waykanan 62 cases, Tulang Bawang 59 cases, West Tulang Bawang 37 cases, Pringsewu 64 cases, Pesawaran 44 cases and Pesisir Barat 20 cases," he said.

He explained, in addition to the positive confirmed cases of COVID-19, there were also additional cases of death due to COVID-19 as many as four people.

"There are four more cases of death, bringing a total of 3,890 deaths. Of the four people, one case died in Bandarlampung City, one case in Central Lampung Regency, one case in Metro, and one case in Tanggamus," he said.

He said the number of suspected cases had also increased, with 122 new cases and 260 people being monitored.

"Recovered cases also experienced an additional 206 cases, bringing a total of 48,072 recovered cases from COVID-19. Although there are recovered cases, the addition is still happening, so people are asked to continue to apply health protocols, don't be negligent," he said.
