JAKARTA - The Ministry of Defense conveyed that the KRI Cakra-401 submarine, which has completed an overhaul at the PT PAL Indonesia shipyard in Surabaya, East Java, will immediately strengthen the ability of the Indonesian Navy to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia.

Admiral Bambang represented the Head of Defense Facilities Agency of the Ministry of Defense at the KRI Cakra-401 Submarine Operation Handover ceremony in Surabaya.
Defense Facilities Agency, in his speech read by Admiral Bambang during the handover, said that the "overhaul" of the KRI Cakra-401 would not only strengthen the defense of the Republic of Indonesia but also support the growth of the domestic defense industry.
