JAKARTA - The North Jakarta Metro Police said as many as 612 personnel from a combination of three pillars of the Civil Service Police Unit, the TNI, and the police were escorting the process of clearing the land for the construction of the Cibitung-Cilincing (Cibici) Toll Road in Karang Anyar Village, Semper Barat.

North Jakarta Metro Police Operational Section Head AKBP Rachmat Eko Mulyadi said the 69 buildings in the five land parcels were torn down to support land acquisition for the Cibici Toll Road project, based on the determination of the North Jakarta District Court panel of judges on December 8, 2021.

"There are five areas for the execution of land clearing activities for the Cibici toll road national development project, consisting of 69 buildings. For security, there are 612 personnel, a combination of elements of the TNI, Polri, and Regional Government," said AKBP Rachmat Eko Mulyadi in North Jakarta as reported by Antara, Wednesday. , February 16.

Eko said that the applicant for the execution had sent a letter of notification to residents whose buildings were to be demolished, so that the clearing of the land this morning could proceed in an orderly manner since Tuesday last week.

The applicant for the execution for the building is the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Land Procurement Unit for the Region I Toll Road Unit, the Implementation Team for the Land and Toll Road Procurement of Cibici Dua, the Directorate of Freeways and Urban Roads, the Directorate General of Highways.

Before the demolition was carried out, officers had time to mediate with residents to explain the basis for carrying out the execution.

"Our basis is strong for the execution of the land," said Eko.
