Officers Will Take Action On Trucks With Excessive Capacity And Dimensions At The Ciujung Serang Toll Gate

SERANG - Serang Police, Banten Police carry out Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) in the context of controlling Over Dimension and Over Loading (ODOL) vehicles at the Ciujung Toll Gate under the jurisdiction of Serang Police.

Head of Serang Traffic Police, AKP Tiwi Afriana, said that before the KRYD activity started, 20 personnel who took part in this activity were given related to motorized vehicles that were targeted.

"The activity is carried out in a humane and professional manner for truck drivers or ODOL vehicles in accordance with guidelines and rules," said Tiwi, through a statement received, Sunday, February 13.

Tiwi also said that if a vehicle containing ODOL was found to be unruly in traffic, action would be taken according to the applicable rules.

"The activity is carried out by giving advice to drivers who do not understand the importance of orderly traffic," said Tiwi.

Tiwi added that field personnel also affixed ODOL warning stickers on goods transporting vehicles.

"Take action on ODOL vehicles that do not have an orderly traffic and secure evidence in accordance with applicable regulations," said Tiwi.
