JAKARTA - This is how people line up to get cheap basic necessities at the Sungai Bambu RPTRA area, North Jakarta, Friday (11/2). It was seen that residents were willing to stand in long lines to get cheap basic necessities sold by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. However, it is ironic that for the sake of cheap groceries, hundreds of residents who lined up did not pay attention to health protocols. This long line of residents was not closely guarded by village officials or local sub-districts because it caused a crowd at the location. A number of residents admitted that they were willing to wait in long lines for hours to get cheap basic food packages because the price was far from the market price. Residents who want to get a cheap food program with basic food packages priced at Rp. 130,000 must be registered and include a Jakarta Smart Card or show a Dasawisma Card. Watch the full video below.
