JAKARTA - Sukabumi Regent Marwan Hamami wants his region to continue to print hafidz (memorization) of the Koran. This is in line with its vision, to become a religious Sukabumi Regency.

"Sukabumi Regency is the area that has the most Islamic boarding schools (ponpes), therefore the Sukabumi Regency Government, in particular, I want this area to be able to print many hafidz of the Koran," said Marwan in Sukabumi, Wednesday, February 9.

According to him, in order to achieve his goals, the Sukabumi Regency Government is currently intensively coaching the younger generation. Especially for children by providing education about understanding the Koran, in line with the mission of developing human resources (HR) to meet the 2045 Golden Indonesia generation.

Guidance for early childhood related to the understanding of the Koran must be improved. He believes that Sukabumi is one of the most hafidz producing areas in West Java.

His party appreciates the consistency of the "Baldatun Center", which continues to strive to print the hafidz of the Koran and continues to run, there are even hundreds of children who have been fostered by this institution to become hafidz.

"Surely the Sukabumi Regency Government is very supportive of this effort because it is in line with the ideals," said Marwan Hamami as reported by Antara.
