In Indramayu, Secretary General Of Gerindra Ensures Prabowo Becomes A Presidential Candidate In The 2024 Presidential Election: It's Been Tested

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Gerindra Party DPP Ahmad Muzani confirmed that the General Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP Prabowo Subianto would run as a presidential candidate (candidate) in the 2024 presidential election contestation (Pilpres).

According to him, all Gerindra Party cadres will "go all out" in winning Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election.

"In 2024 God willing, he will run as a presidential candidate from the Gerindra Party. If you look at all the results of the survey institutions, Pak Prabowo is number one in popularity, electability is number one, and we are all Gerindra Party, the people of Indramayu and West Java are behind him," said Muzani in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 9, quoted from Antara.

This was said by Muzani after reviewing the vaccination implementation held by the Gerindra Indramayu Party DPC in collaboration with the Indramayu Regency Government and the Greater Indonesia People's Network (Jari Raya), Tuesday (8/2).

Muzani assesses that Prabowo is still in demand by the public to run again as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, which is based on the results of the release of a number of survey institutions.

According to him, the survey results show Prabowo's popularity and electability outperforming other potential presidential candidates.

The Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI assessed that leadership towards advanced Indonesia requires an ideal leader and a leader should not be wrong in making decisions.

"Especially when the Indonesian nation and state are facing difficulties like today, their leadership must be tested. Prabowo is a proven leader in the succession of national leadership, both as General Chair of the Gerindra Party and Minister of Defense," he said.

Muzani gave an example when the Indonesian nation is facing the threat of COVID-19, a leader's political decisions cannot be wrong.

According to him, when a wrong political decision is made, the people are the victims and Prabowo as a leader has been tested as the General Chair and Chair of the Gerindra Party Advisory Board, as well as the Minister of Defense.

"He is the Minister of Defense whose international debut has been tested, his diplomacy has been tested, and has also been tested in dealing with various problems, because of that political decisions concerning the country, I believe he has also been tested," he said.

In addition, Muzani said that the vice presidential candidate who will accompany Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election is the best son and daughter of the Indonesian nation.

He welcomed and was happy because many people wanted to accompany Prabowo.
