SURABAYA - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) sealed a number of public entertainment recreation areas (RHU) in Surabaya City, East Java, which violated health protocols (prokes).

"Yesterday (6/2), I found a violation, based on reports from residents at the Empire Palace, only three of the 3,000 participants used the application," said Surabaya City Satpol PP Head Eddy Christijanto in Surabaya, quoted by Antara, Monday, February 7.

Eddy emphasized that the activity violated the prokes and was subject to a maximum fine.

"There was no assessment at that time. What we sealed was not the building, but the meeting room," said Eddy.

For this reason, Eddy sees the need for the role of the sub-district and sub-district in implementing the health program.

According to him, so far there are still many RHU violations, one of which violates operational hours in the Tenggilis area. The RHU has now been closed by the Tenggilis sub-district head.

"If there is a violation, we will definitely close it. We will be fined and suspended for 7 days and make a statement in accordance with the orders of the Mayor," he said.

Eddy explained that his party is currently taking various anticipatory steps according to the instructions of the Mayor of Surabaya, including conducting swab hunters, optimizing the PeduliLindung application in public entertainment recreation areas (RHU), setting coffee shop opening hours (warkop), supermarkets, cafes, and others. .

"We have sent letters to sub-districts and sub-districts throughout Surabaya to carry out routine activities," he said.
