SUKOHARJO - Six bodies of victims of a tourism bus traffic accident from two families were buried in one grave at the Gedong cemetery, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java.

According to Suraji, one of the community leaders in Mranggen Village, Polokarto District, the bodies of the six victims of the accident were from two different families who agreed to be buried in one grave at the local village cemetery.

The six victims of the tourism bus accident are Paryono Kasinem (79), Sugiyo Loso Diharjo (60), Parjiyem (54), Arditya Revan Pratama (9) a family from Kedungrejo Hamlet. Then, Sri Wahyudi (55) and Afiana (12) family from Kedung Gandu Hamlet.

According to him, the burial of the six bodies from two different families was carried out in one grave to facilitate the burial process.

One large grave measuring about 2 X 6 meters with a depth of about 1.5 meters, at the Gedong cemetery, Kedungrejo Hamlet, Mranggen, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo. Excavating the soil using excavators and assisted by local residents.

After the funeral prayer was held at the Al Gazali Nurul Falah Mosque in the local village, the four bodies were immediately buried.

Head of Polokarto Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency, Heri Mulyadi, said that the family agreed that the bodies of six bodies from the two families were buried in one grave.

"The funeral will be held on Monday, and a joint prayer procession has been carried out in each funeral home early Monday morning. After the body is prayed at the mosque, a funeral will be carried out," said the sub-district head, quoted by Antara, Monday, February 7.

Previously, as many as 13 bodies of victims of tourism bus traffic accidents in Bantul, DI Yogyakarta, arrived at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Ir. Soekarno, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, on Monday morning.

A total of 13 bodies of victims of the tourism bus accident were brought by 13 ambulances to the Sukoharjo Regional Hospital and received by the Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani accompanied by the Head of Police AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan, then handed over to the victim's family for burial.

Sukoharjo Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan said the tourist bus that had the accident was a home convection tour group belonging to residents of Mranggen Village, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency.

The group of bodies arrived at RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo, around 00.46 WIB. From the hospital in Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) to the trip to Sukoharjo, the convoy of ambulances was escorted by members of the police and a number of volunteers.
