JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has decided to start limited face-to-face learning (PTM) with a capacity of 50 percent starting tomorrow, Friday, February 4, 2022.
This follows the central government's decision to change face-to-face learning (PTM) with 100 percent capacity to 50 percent in Level 2 PPKM areas.
"The results of the leadership meeting, God willing, tomorrow (50 percent PTM) will be carried out tomorrow," said Head of Public Relations of the DKI Education Agency Taga Radja Gah when contacted, Thursday, February 3.

"Because DKI PPKM is Level 2, so we follow it. Automatically, it is carried out with a blended learning approach. Some (students) are partly (students) at home and some at school," said Taga.
Previously, regions that implemented PPKM Level 2 were given the discretion to stop 100 percent PTM and replace it with 50 percent Limited PTM.
This decision was made following a proposal from the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan who asked for 100 percent PTM in the capital to be temporarily suspended and replaced with 100 percent PJJ. This proposal was not fully accepted.
"Starting today, regions with PPKM level 2 are approved to be given discretion to be able to adjust PTM with 100 percent student capacity to 50 percent student capacity," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture Suharti in a statement.
The method of implementing learning is through blended learning, namely learning in class and learning online. In a week, PTM is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meanwhile, on Tuesday and Thursday, disinfectant was sprayed throughout the school environment. This method was used last year.
The face-to-face learning time for each level is as follows:
a. SMA/SMK equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 5 hours of lessons (175 minutes a week)
b. Junior high school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 4 hours of lessons (140 minutes a week)
c. Elementary school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 3 hours of lessons (105 minutes a week)
d. PAUD maximum 30 minutes x 2 hours of lessons (60 minutes a week)
Class conditions that apply face-to-face learning:
a. SMA, SMK, MA, MAK, SMP, MTs, SD, MI, and learning equality programs by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 18 students per class.
b. SDLB, MILB, SMPLB, MTsLB and SMLB, MALB learn by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class.
c. PAUD learns in class by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class.
