The Head of Doctor of Health of the West Papua Police, Kombes Dr. Bambang Pitoyo Nugraha, gave a separate statement, saying that the DVI process had identified three of the 17 bodies of the victims.

He explained that the three victims identified were bodies with antemortem number 005 identified by the name of Indah Sukmadani or known as DJ Cleo, female, 24 years old from West Sumatra Province.

The victim is identified based on a medical examination in the morgue and the property or accessories attached to the victim.

He said that the second body that was successfully identified was the corpse with the antemortem number 010 in the name of Fermansyah Syahputra, male, 33 years old from Palembang. The person concerned was identified based on a dental examination, property and medical examination at the morgue.

"Then the three bodies with antemortem number 007 in the name of Vicram Kenoras, male, 23 years old, from Sorong City. Those concerned were identified based on medical examinations at the morgue and property," he added.

Indah Cleo's family will immediately fly the deceased's body from the city of Sorong to be buried in his native Bukittinggi, West Sumatra Province, after being handed over to the police.

Sukma Wardani, the victim's younger brother, when met in Sorong City, said that the deceased's request was that he should be buried next to his father's grave.

"That was the last message of the deceased that if anything happened to him he should be buried next to his father's grave," Sukma added.
