BMKG Predicts Potential For Thunderstorms Accompanied By Strong Winds In South Jakarta Area

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) asked the public to be aware of the potential for thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds in the South Jakarta area, Saturday, January 29. According to bmkg.go.id, the potential for thunderstorms and strong winds is expected in the afternoon. Saturday morning it is expected to be cloudy in some areas including West Jakarta and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, clear cloudy weather is expected in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Light rain is expected to occur only in the Thousand Islands region in the morning. In the afternoon, the weather begins to change, as in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, light rain is expected. . Then in West Jakarta and Central Jakarta it is predicted to be cloudy and North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy.

Later at night, the BMKG predicts the weather in all compact areas will be cloudy. Entering the early morning, only the Thousand Islands are expected to have light rain and other areas are expected to be cloudy. Meanwhile, the air temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to be in the minimum range of 23-27 degrees Celsius and maximum 32 degrees. Meanwhile, the humidity level is estimated to be in the range of a minimum of 70-80 percent to a maximum of 90-95 percent.
