PURWOKERTO - Banyumas Police Team, Central Java. investigated the case of throwing Molotov cocktails at the house of a resident of Bobosan Village.

"Regarding the information on the Molotov cocktails, we immediately went to the location, the picket team and the identification team went directly to the scene," said Banyumas Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Kompol Berry, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 28.

The Criminal Investigation Unit confirmed that his party would continue to investigate and explore the Molotov cocktail throwing case by asking local residents for information regarding the possibility that someone might have seen the perpetrators of the throwing.

"The only problem is that we got this information after two days and the condition of the crime scene has been cleaned up. It happened on Wednesday (26/1), at 00.05 WIB, we are still investigating by looking for information whether when it happened, anyone knows for sure," he said. Compol Berry.

Meanwhile, the owner of the house, Supriyanto (53) said that the Molotov cocktail was thrown on the terrace of his house on Wednesday (26/1), at 00.05 WIB.

"When I was just getting up to sleep, I heard something being thrown and hit the drum (which was between the house and the shop). I immediately went out and saw an energy drink bottle that had a wick burning," he said.

He immediately extinguished the fire from the wick of the bottle filled with kerosene which had been shattered by hitting the drum. Furthermore, he reported the incident to the Bobosan Village which is not far from his house.

"There's only one bottle. When I smell it, it smells like kerosene," said the resident of Jalan Kamandaka RT 01 RW 02, Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District.

Regarding the alleged perpetrators, he admitted that he did not have any picture at all because so far it was normal to socialize.

However, he admitted that he was worried about the incident because he did not know the real motive for throwing the Molotov cocktails.
