Police Reveal UpI Bandung Student Involved In A Quarrel That Fell From The Second Floor And Died
JAKARTA - The Bandung City Police (Polrestabes) revealed that a student at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) named Ajeng Mahromatussa (21) was involved in an argument with his ex-girlfriend with the initials AV, before falling and being found dead at the Gymnasium Building on Thursday 26 December.
Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Sartono revealed that based on witness testimony and CCTV footage, the victim fell from the second floor of the UPI Gymnasium Building, Bandung City.
"From the results of the examination, there was indeed an argument in the boarding room with his ex-girlfriend, which is suspected to be a love affair," Budi said in Bandung, quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 28.
Budi explained that from the CCTV footage, the victim was seen leaving his boarding room at 11.33 WIB after an argument with his ex-girlfriend and headed to the UPI Gymnasium Building alone.
He ensured that no one else was seen around the location during the incident.
"Here it looks alone, no one else. Then at 12.28 WIB it was seen on CCTV, the victim fell from the second floor of the gymnasium building to the basketball court," he said.
The victim was first discovered by two witnesses, MF and DN, who were currently creating content in the gymnasium building area. The two witnesses immediately reported the incident to campus security and local police.

From the initial examination, the police confirmed that there were no signs of anyone else's involvement at the scene. He also stated that the victim had no history of illness and was active in various campus activities.
"The victim has no congenital disease and is still active on the campus. The victim also joined the group organization with his ex-girlfriend," he said.
