BYD Officially Launches Denza D9 2025 Refreshment, Prices Starting From IDR 750 Million

JAKARTA - China's leading automotive producer BYD officially launched a refresher version of the 2025 MPV Denza D9 model for the Chinese market.

Quoted from CarNewsChina, Saturday, December 28, this car will be present in five Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) variants and three variants for EVs with prices ranging from 339,800 yuan to 469,800 yuan (equivalent to Rp753.5 million to Rp1,041 billion).

Denza D9 2025 has a length of up to 5,250 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, a height of 1,920 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. Different from before, the MPV height was reduced by 20 mm.

This model gets an update starting from the redesigned Grill with the latest L patterned chromo-coated elements. In addition, this luxury MPV is equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloys with exterior colors such as Night Black, Bright White, and Elegant Blue.

Then, this car has the addition of a LiDAR roof to realize the 'God's Eye' system from BYD that supports the help function of high speed navigation and city including start-stop traffic lights, introduction of lane line recognition, and obstruction avoidance.

In addition, 32 security and safety sensors were also presented in this model and one of them was the Automatic Emergency Braking speed of 120 km/hour.

One of the highlights of this model is the presence of the DiSus-C continuous damping control system, Intelligent Comfort Control Technology (iCCT), and a four-wheel drive system (4WD).

In the PHEV system, Denza D9 2025 adopts the fifth generation DM system by combining a 154 dk power 1.5T engine. In front wheels (FWD), this car has a 268 dk electric motor and an all-wheel drive variant (AWD) added 60 dk behind.

With the help of a 39.9 kWh Blade LFP battery, this car can provide a distance of 190 200 km with a comprehensive reach of up to 1,020 1,100 km if the gasoline tank and electric power are fully charged.

Meanwhile, the pure EV variant has a 103 kWh Blade LFP battery that gives a distance of 600 km and 620 km. It can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 7 minutes using DC fast charging and can charge energy for a distance of 243 km in 15 minutes.
