BMKG: Most Of Indonesia's Weather Potentially Rainy Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia on Thursday has the potential to rain.

"In Java, for Jakarta, Serang, and Bandung, light rain is forecast. Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya are expected to rain heavily with lightning," said BMKG forecaster Syndhy Indah P in a weather forecast broadcast in Jakarta, quoted by Antara. Thursday 26 December.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain in Sumatra is predicted in Medan, Padang, Tanjung Pinang, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Pangkal Pinang and Lampung. Meanwhile, Aceh and Jambi are predicted to be cloudy. Bengkulu has the potential for heavy rain with high intensity accompanied by lightning.

In Eastern Indonesia, he said, light to moderate rain is predicted in general, such as in Sorong, Nabire, Ambon, Jayapura, Jayawijaya, Ternate, Manokwari, and Jayawijaya with the potential for light to moderate rain. Merauke has the potential for heavy rain accompanied by lightning.
