Train Tickets From Jakarta To January 5, 2025, 58 Percent Have Been Sold
JAKARTA - PT KAI (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta noted that the sale of long-distance train tickets (KAJJ) during the Christmas and New Year holidays for 18 days from 19 December to 5 January which departed from Pasar Senen Station and Gambir Station reached 58 percent.
"During Nataru 2024/2025, a total of 821,972 seats have been provided. Gambir station 358,358 seats and Pasar Senen 463,614 seats. From the seating capacity provided, to this day, Wednesday, 475,000 tickets have been sold," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwintoko in his statement, Wednesday, December 25.
As for the transportation departing from Gambir Station, there are 48 trains and Pasar Senen Station with 38 trains.
Ixfan said the peak of the Christmas homecoming occurred on Tuesday, December 24, with an occupancy of 95 percent of the seats available, namely 44,249 passengers departing for Gambir Station and Pasar Senen.
As for today's departure, there are 40,854 passengers departing, from Gambir Station 14,824 passengers or 73 percent occupancy of the seats available. And from Pasar Pasar Station Monday as many as 26,030 passengers with 99 percent occupancy.

The number of passengers, according to him, could still change because ticket sales were still ongoing until the train schedule was dispatched.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded the favorite dates chosen by customers, namely 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25 in December with an average capacity of above 70 to 90 percent. Favorite destinations for KAJJ customers to go to Yogyakarta, Lempuyangan, Surabaya, Purwokerto and Semarang.
