Yemen's Houthi Missile Intercepted By Israel

JAKARTA - Sirine warning attacks sounded in a number of areas in central Israel. Yemen's Houthis are launching missile attacks again.

The Houthi missile was intercepted before crossing into Israeli territory. There have been no reports of casualties, reported by Reuters, Tuesday, December 24.

Iranian-backed groups in Yemen have repeatedly fired drones and missiles at Israel as an act of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

Last weekend Israeli military failed to intercept a missile from Yemen on Saturday (21/22) that crashed in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area. Ambulance services said 14 people were injured.

A spokesman for Iran's Houthi group said they were attacking military targets' in the Jaffa region with ballistic missiles.

Reporting from Reuters, Sunday, December 22, paramedics treated 14 people who suffered minor injuries from shrapnel and some were rushed to hospital.
