Wave Of Attacks In Mali Kills 20 People, Houses Burned
JAKARTA - A wave of attacks in the villages of Mopti, Mali, has killed 20 people. Unknown attackers attacked during the day and night, searched and burned houses in six villages in the Bandiagara area.
As reported by Reuters on Sunday, December 22, one of the sources said the attackers came in large numbers on motorbikes.
In the first village visited, the perpetrators killed everyone and destroyed people's homes.

Mali, the West African country is battling armed groups linked to Al Qaeda and ISIS after the Tuareg separatist insurgency in 2012.
Militants have spread to other countries in the Sahel region south of the Sahara, capturing territory, killing thousands of people and forcing millions of people to flee.
