The Minister Of PKP Is Ready To Support All Proposals From The Housing Developers Association

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait stated that he is ready to support all proposals from housing development associations for the success of the Three Million Houses Program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

"I am very happy to help each other, help each other to realize the Three Million House Program. We cannot work alone, of course," said the man who is familiarly called Ara as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 20.

For this reason, he said, the Ministry of PKP plans to agree on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Financial Services Authority and the Director General of Taxes to help make the Three Million Houses Program a success, especially related to financing schemes.

Regarding housing financing support, Minister Ara said the quota for the 2025 Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) from the budget allocated by the government in the APBN was 220,000 units with a composition of 75 percent of the government and 25 percent of banks with an allocation of IDR 28.17 trillion.

"We propose that there be additional to 500,000 houses or an increase of 280,000 units with a new composition of 50:50 so that the total budget is IDR 49.22 trillion," said Ara.

Chairman of the DPP Association for Settlement and Public Housing Development (Himperra) Ari Tri Priyono said, Himperra already has a subsidy house ready for habitation as well as 15,000 housing loans (KPR) in January 2025.

"A total of 5,000 units are ready for the contract on January 2, 2025," said Ari.

He proposed to the government that groups of people with salaries of Rp. 8 million and above also receive subsidies, because according to him, the reality in the field is that there are still many groups of people who do not have a house.

This, according to him, is to strengthen the demand side for housing.

"In addition, we also propose that the 8-10 decile group be given a subsidy, which is equivalent to a house price of Rp. 500 million. So far, demand and supply are difficult to match because it asks the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) to support it through its programs, "said Ari as well.
