DKI Disdik Provides Psychological Assistance To Victims Of Bullying SMAN 70

Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Sarjoko, said that his party provided psychological assistance to victims of bullying by seniors at SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office through SMAN 70 Jakarta will provide psychological assistance to students who are victims to restore their psychological condition," said Sarjoko in his statement, Friday, December 20.

Meanwhile, students who commit acts of bullying are subject to sanctions in the form of relocation to other schools. In the aftermath of this bullying case, SMAN 70 Jakarta will conduct socialization on anti-bullying for all students.

"This activity aims to increase awareness to create a culture of mutual respect within the Education Unit," said Sarjoko.

Sarjoko hopes that the case that occurred at SMAN 70 will be a lesson for all parties to be more concerned and active in creating an atmosphere of the Education Unit which is free of bullying.

"Prevention and handling of bullying requires the collaboration of all parties, including students, educators, parents, and the community," he explained.

Five students of SMAN 70 Jakarta were reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel) regarding the alleged abuse and bullying of juniors, ABF during rest hours. The reported party is a senior of the victim. The case was reported with LP/B/3769/XII/2024/SPKT/Polres Metro South Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya registration.
