Minister Nusron Asks BPN To Answer Modern Bureaucratic Challenges

BALI - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid asked the ranks of the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Bali Province BPN to prepare to answer the challenges of modern bureaucracy.

According to him, these challenges can be overcome through the transformation of land services by simplifying business processes that prioritize accuracy, prudentness, accountability, considering risk management and transparency, as well as strengthening technology infrastructure.

"Our society today is smart and critical. Therefore, the face of our office must change or transform. We must change the business process of our services so that they are simpler, faster, but still prioritize accurate, both juridical and physical and historical data," said Nusron in a statement quoted in Denpasar, Bali, Saturday.

Regarding the strengthening of technology infrastructure, Bali Province is the first area to officially implement land services electronically in all districts/cities since last May.

Thus, land offices in nine regencies/cities in Bali make it easier for the community and streamline the sustainability of services to the community.

Although fast, Nusron also emphasized that caution is a priority, especially to ensure that land that will be registered does not experience disputes in the future.

He also emphasized that every product produced must be accounted for.

"Second, prudent, must be careful whether the land we want to certificate overlaps or not. Third, it must be accountable, it can be accounted for because what we produce is legal products," he said.

Risk management, according to Nusron, should also be used as the main basis.

Land services must be based on risk management by considering potential conflicts and overlaps in the future.

In terms of risk management, the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Bali Province BPN must think ahead, consider conflict risks, and whether or not there is an overlap risk.

"Fifth, transparent, can be controlled by the community. We must become a modern bureaucracy," he said.

With the transformation carried out, the Ministry of ATR/BPN continues to strive to make land services more adaptive, effective, and relevant to the needs of the community. This transformation is also expected not only to make it easier for the community, but to strengthen public confidence in land and spatial services.
