REI Hopes FLPP Program Continues Starting Early 2025
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of Real Estate Indonesia (REI) Hari Ganie hopes that the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program for Low-Income Communities (MBR) will continue and begin in early 2025.
"Our hope is that what is already good, namely the FLPP for MBR will continue. The target is 220 thousand-300 thousand next year, it will be continued and started at the beginning of the year. Always the years (last) it was originally (the FLPP program) 2-3 months to even 5 months (from the beginning of the year)," he said at the Indonesia Policy Dialogue event entitled New Energy and Housing Sector' in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 12 December.
Until now, he stated that there are 5,600 REI developers throughout Indonesia. Based on this number, 80 percent of them are MBR developers, which means the majority are not from big players such as Ciputra or Summarecon.
"So, don't assume that REI represents Agung Podomoro, Agung Sedayu, Ciputra too. 80 percent of our members are MBR development," said the Deputy Chair of REI.
Therefore, he hopes that the FLPP program for MBR will continue in the coming year.
